There is more trouble in store for Boeing

Though Asian airlines are booming, the big American ones like Delta and United have gone bankrupt—endanger boeing a potentially huge market. But the real blow came in mid September when the US Defence Department unhappy with the company decided to reduce Boeing’s role in a $20 billion project for new age satellites and transferred the business to rival Lockheed Martin. Boeing simply has no option but to settle the strike as fast as possible if it doesn’t want Airbus to again walk away with all the honours. Playing ego wars with trade unions can be postponed.
